Tell us about one way in which Breakthrough shaped your path?
Breakthrough did not only help solidify my career path in becoming a high school teacher, but also allowed me to start developing my teacher identity as someone who cares for her students beyond academic success.
Most memorable Breakthrough moment?
There are too many to count. Celebration was such a bittersweet day. I enjoyed bopping and singing our teacher song to our students (Before I Let Go by Beyoncé aka Somerville’s Home).
